Clap for carers is set to return on Sunday 5th July to celebrate the NHS 72nd birthday as well as a round of applause for our amazing healthcare professionals.
In March, a campaign began to Clap for Carers every Thursday evening at 8pm to applaud and thank those working on the frontline. It was then extended to all key workers that have been working during the Covid-19 pandemic. The last official clap took place at the end of May.
On 4 July, the evening before, people will be asked to put a light in their windows in remembrance of all those lost to the coronavirus pandemic and a minutes silence is also planned to be held on Sunday 5th July.
Please join everyone with a Clap for our Carers for our NHS on Sunday 5th July.
